Q: My exterior paint is peeling. Why is this happening and what can I do about it? A: Paint can peel when exposed to moisture and weathering. Your paint may be peeling because it is the wrong type of paint for the surface, it was applied in a poor manner, or the surface was not properly prepared before it was painted.
