Miguel's crew is awesome. Our house looks like a new house. We are so happy we picked Kelley Bros painting. They took special care with our new concrete and took alot of pride in their work. No mess. We highly recommend them.
“I just wanted to let you know the crew that worked on our house exceeded my expectations! They painted every room in the house and gave each room character. The crew put all the furniture back in place and cleaned up every night. A few of them worked very long days. I appreciated everything—all of the hard work and detail it took to accomplish the project.” – Michael K., Littleton, CO

Interior walls, trim, and the exterior of a home can receive a lot of scratches, dents, and other marks that are hard to remove by just wiping it off. Repainting any area can give you a chance to inspect closely the interior and exterior elements of your home so you can spot any vulnerabilities like damaged or missing pieces on the outside or inside walls. It’s definitely wise to repair any minor damage like rotted wood before painting or repainting an area as it can prevent bigger damage which will cost a lot more to fix down the road. If you don’t do repairs and paint over damaged or molded areas, this can lead to major damage and hazards to you and your family’s health.
First, we worked to remove all wallpaper throughout the house. There was a wallpaper border in a couple rooms, so it wasn’t too big of a deal taking it off. I basically scored the paper, wet it, then scraped it off. We did a more in-depth post last year. The main thing to keep in mind when removing wallpaper is to score well, then soak soak soak. The longer you let the paper soak up the removal spray or water, the easier it will peel off! Don’t paint over the wallpaper. Like most short cuts in home repair, it will lead to more problems down the road. Which I ran into in this house. In the dining room, I was removing the wallpaper when I realized somebody had previously painted over wallpaper. In the entire room! Which leads me to the second thing we did.
We started our project in the fall. We were worried that we might not have given ourselves enough time to get the house painted before the rain came. Ignacio and his team responded very quickly and did a first class job. The quote was very easy to understand, the paint they use is top quality and their attention to detail is amazing. They caulked and prepped meticulously (2 full days) and managed to finish the paint job just before the rain... I high recommend Mayco Painting Llc. for your painting projects...
