It took a couple days to get the house primed. When that was done, it was time for our paint party! We had some people over and painted colors, whites, trims, and doors. You can see the color choices here. The walls were painted a semi-gloss paramount white and the trim was gloss ultra white. Choosing two different sheens gives contrast and a bit more depth. The semi-gloss and gloss painted walls are also easier to clean compared to flat paint.
If you can’t find a Diamond Certified painter within reach, you’ll have to do some research on your own. If you do, it’s wise to call some references provided by your contractor. Keep in mind, though, that references they give to you are not equal in value to the large random sample of customers surveyed during the Diamond Certified ratings process. That’s because references given to customers from companies are rarely randomly selected from all their customers. Instead, contractors will likely give out contact information for a few customers that they know are satisfied.

Also known as: polyester epoxy, fusion bonded epoxy powder coatings (FBE), epoxy resin, powder coatings, two-part epoxy coatings Paints that are exposed to high amounts of light, heat and weathering can experience fading. Fading can be postponed by choosing higher quality paints, choosing lighter colors and applying more coats of paint.
Wow, this sounds like a really extensive project that you went through! I had no idea that so much effort could go into painting a home. I have been meaning to paint my own home very soon, but I am not sure whether I have the time or the skill to be able to do all of this. I might just try one room to see how I do, and then see if I will be brave enough to attempt the rest. However, it might be a good idea for me to get help with this, otherwise it definitely won’t end up looking as great as yours! http://www.jpspainting.org/About-Us.html Lisa February 25, 2015 A Beautiful Mess February 25, 2015

A gallon of paint costs $15 to $40 and covers about 350 square feet with one coat. Designer varieties can run over $100 per gallon. Your contractor pays 50 percent less than what it runs in a home improvement store. You’ll also need to spend another $20 to $100 on supplies like brushes, rollers, masking paper and plastic. A professional will have these items on-hand. Westminster House Painters CO
Once the preparation is done and out of the way, its time to start adding some beautiful color to your home’s exterior to give it a new fresh look.
Very sloppy workmanship. The owner was not always available except to accept our checks. Texting was his specialty. After completion we called him back for a repair and re-finish he wanted to charge $75.00 We said no way Sorry that we did not use the previous painters used on our other home
You’re likely excited to pick a color and see your room come to life, but like all of our paint advice, we want you to always consider prep first. An older home usually requires a different approach to prep than a newer home.
I have painted my house twice with these guys and painted several rooms. They are the best. Their staff is friendly and you trust them to do the right thing every time. Thank you 3 Brothers.

Painting vinyl siding costs $1 to $3 per square foot or $1,700 to $5,100 for a 2,000 SF home. Painting vinyl siding refreshes worn siding's appearance. Vinyl siding typically lasts up to 25 years or more but may fade sooner with extreme weather or sun exposure.
Excellent advice because there are many unskilled workers who are "trying to pull the wool over the customers eyes". One has to study about the project for which they are in need. I happen to need dry wall repair and painting done in my home and feel the advice in this article will be a great help to me in hiring someone who is ethical and does good work. Thanks. The color scheme that is chosen for the home creates the initial impression that an individual has of the premises as a whole. Whether complimentary or unflattering colors are selected, the house will gain an identity of its own when the paint is applied. There are many times that a homeowner misses opportunities to accentuate positive attributes that the home has to offer by failing to choose the best exterior paint colors. Q: My exterior paint is peeling. Why is this happening and what can I do about it? A: Paint can peel when exposed to moisture and weathering. Your paint may be peeling because it is the wrong type of paint for the surface, it was applied in a poor manner, or the surface was not properly prepared before it was painted. If your paint is peeling, there isn’t much you can do about it. The peeling paint will need to be removed, the surface sanded and prepared, and a new coat of paint applied. Your best course for dealing with peeling paint is to remove the entire coat of paint, not just the peeling area. That’s because the rest of the paint will most likely also fail, since it was applied in the same way to the same surface. Contact a local Sonoma County painting company to assess the damage and advise you on your specific situation.
